I'm looking to make a 2D action game with lots of animations.
I came here to ask if there's any examples of 2D animations made with tweening that looks as good as proper traditional animation.
I was wondering if I should use software like Sprine/Spriter or should I say fuck this and use proper 2D animation.
So, I made a quick test mixing both traditional and tweening techniques.
Pls rate.
I think it already looks better than traditional shit made using such software.
People are gonna say it looks like shit, but I'll tell you this.

Why do smtfags always get so angry about Persona? Do they not realise that before P3, it was just smt-lite? If you want to play smt, play smt. Not to mention you also have Raidou and DDS. Some say they're angry because Atlus is focusing on Persona, instead of the other series, but you have Strange Journey, SMTIV, and the new IV.

Why do walkthroughs of games like RE4 or Dead Space always recommend skipping enemies? I've never played a game where that was necessary, more fun, or rewarding in any way.
Do any of you do this? Why?

As a followup I forgot to mention it doesn't only apply to newer games, I can't think of the last game I played where it wasn't possible to kill every enemy in every room, barring scenarios with infinite spawns of course.
A lot of the tension in silent hill 1-3 comes from the uncertainty of whether or not to fight enemies. It's not scary to know exactly what you have to do in a horror game, whether it's running away (amnesia) or killing (later RE's, most modern "horror" games).
This something REmake nailed, enemies should be a resource sink with the only positive in killing them being a clear hallway, not fucking dropped ammo.

I played through REmake killing every enemy, and not through a terribly high amount of effort. I can't talk about silent hill since I haven't played it, but your comment would have me believe that sometimes a fight can't be won. In which case, that falls under the literally impossible clause I mentioned up there.
My main point was that I can't think of a game where you can't kill every enemy with the resources presented to you, so why not do it?

Capcom is a big company so obviously they want to appeal to a wide audience.
The problem is japs are dumb af and ignorant of the west so when they see a vocal minority crying they think it's a smart decision to cater to them, when really it isn't.
