Is it worth playing with mods if I haven't beat the game? I do like replayability of adding mods but I don't know if the vanilla is considered bad with all the mod recommendations I've heard.
i had a lot of interest in the mmo mod being created. basically the same game but with your save stored on their servers. haven't heard anything recently.

The thing about mods is that ton of them bind your characters and as such, are fucked should you ever get rid of those mods.
Not to mention, even with all the best mods the game is pretty mediocre. Passives are simply 10 times better than skills and the itemisation is boring.

I want to play a game where interacting with other players is needed to progress a character. I miss the days of Runescape classic and Diablo 2 where you had to sell your equipment in a barter style trade system. With Diablo 2 run by bots and ruined by JSP, and Runescape is an unplayable mess I am looking for some sort of grind-y game to play for a while. Path of Exile seems too unapproachable because I missed the maiden voyage. Any suggestions with an active community?
