Not exactly stealth but I've got a feeling Ghost Recon Wildlands will scratch the open world guerilla warfare simulator that MGSV scratched so well.
People can shitpost all they want, the style of game MGSV was scratched every itch for me as a gamer. I always wanted some Open World stealth warfare simulator.

It's been out in English for a while, I think the English PC release was in 2011 or 2012 or some shit. It's a lot better than the VN.

This will be my first ever Kiseki game, hell my first Falcom game even.
Will I be fine?
First I thought this series was like FF/DQ/Tales where every installment doesn't have anything to do with the previous game but eventually I looked it up and learned that this game takes place in the same setting as Sora/Ao/Zero so I'm kinda hesitant to buy it since the story connection might be heavy and I am required to play past games.
If it's like Persona 4 where the game takes place in the same world as Persona 3 but you don't really need to play the previous game since the connection isn't really significant due to it having a completely different plot, then I will pick this game up right away.

Play Trails in the Sky and SC first or you'll be missing out on important info about the setting for the first game and will be completely lost in the second game's plot.

I can sort of understand why Kamiya has a bit of a dismissive attitude towards the sequels. The first game has a level of nuance in its style and design that every other installment lacks.

Much like DMC3, it's sex when you're in combat and just mediocre outside that. And the first DMC has tons of "outside combat" gameplay.

It easily has the strongest cast of enemies and bosses in the series overall imo.
In the other games they are a bit all over the place, 2 especially.
