I've never played a Mass Effect game before and I just bought the first one.

Played Episode Duscae, thoroughly enjoyed it but apart from that I haven't even been following the game.
Looks good though, and I'll be getting it day one. Persona can wait.

So anyone play this fairly old shit? a friend of mine got into it and they seem to really like it so it got me thinking. I always thought this diablo 3 shit was basically just world of warcraft: top down edition, but apparently it's mainly a single player game and there's really no endgame focus on raiding and multiplayer?

My friend said some shit about great rifts but it's all done solo, no raiding or requiring guilds and stuff. Is this mostly a single player experience? I heard there's no hub towns or anything either yet you're online all the time?
