Having just watched the new Star Wars movie, did anyone else get the feeling that Disney actually might make KotOR canon?
Star Killer Base was powered almost exactly the same way the Star Forge was powered. An updated canon map of the galaxy already has Rakata Prime on there and that last planet they show looked remarkably similar. JJ has even talked about the game being one of his favorites and a canceled episode of the cartoon even had Revan in it before Lucas axed it. There's also some mobile game, which should be canon, that has HK-47, which means he existed in the new canon.
I don't think it's that big of a stretch to say that KotOR is probably the most famous Star Wars game and, if anyone has the pull to get Disney to budge, it's probably EA, since they have an exclusive partnership for Star Wars games right now.
Too bad EA will have Bioware fart it out like a stillborn foetus
