A friend set the language in WoW to French and played on FR servers on his alt. Can actually have conversations with French people now. Can't speak it though.

This is recognized as the most accessible MH game, and it's really fun.
I put dozens of hours into it and I'm considering restarting my save.
Get it, you will sink 300 hours minimum into it
the whole game works really well, you fight monsters to harvest their body parts to make insane anime weapons to fight bigger and scarier monsters. You have to learn each monster's attack patterns and what not,but once you do, it feels so good to preemptively dodge before they do that one move that takes out 3/4 of your hp

While I agree that steam is an abomination I don't think that's the reason for more DLC
It's just corporate greed pushing farther and people with no spine eating it up
That being said Steam is a great platform for shoveling out DLC so it is contributing to the problem

I honestly was expecting a harder pacifist run, where you would have to do a lot more diverse things before a boss to ensure you could spare them..not just At the boss, having the option always available.
another thing was I was expecting to do a lot more hiding during a pacifist run, with the monsters actually looking to murder you (rather than accidentally) and I thought Flowey was actually the King of all Monsters, but in a magical flower-form
i remember in the demo, Flowey says something about a Monarch, so it got me thinking that the protagonist would eventually become the king of monsters

Pretty much every weapon from KF1, barring the Medic weapons.
Even the 9mm felt like a cannon made of pure audible FUCK YOU. Then the Hunting Shotgun comes along and feels like the wrath of an angry god.
