So /v/, what games are you looking forward to in 2016?
FFXV and Dark Souls 3 are the only things that come to mind. A lot of people seem to be looking forward to No Man's Sky but personally I'm struggling to give a shit about it.
FFXV is looking pretty good now that the combat has been overhauled. Pic related.
All the Yakuza games - especially Zero being localized, but also 6 and Kiwami which I'll definitely be importing.
I guess I'll play Dark Souls 3 when it's cheap, pretty much over that series though, and 3 looks like exactly more of the same.
Persona 5 is another one I'm kinda looking forward too, as is the new Deus Ex.
Oh yeah and definitely the new Nier if it makes it for 2016, and isn't delayed.
I highly doubt The Last Guardian will be out next year.
That's pretty much about it, might've missed some titles, but I hope there are some new IPs that will be good, even if it's indie shit like Cuphead which looks good.

Yes. The biggest complain about XV Demo was the combat, and inability to switch weapons with ease without that stupid system they had.
They listened and did a complete overhaul.

It's why people watch moeshit. Cute girls doing cute things and then boom 13 episodes later and several hours have passed without you realizing it.

Characters are well design, cute and you become fond of them early, they are simple characters but solid and well made far beyond the generic moeblobs that populate other weeb games. It is full of lighthearted humor that calms the soul.
It has a variation of turn based RPG combat that stands on its own and none other game posess with the exception of Fairy Fencer which is its sibling franchise.
The story is simple but solid and fun.
In a few words, it is a cute and relaxed single player experience with niche appeal that doesn't take itself seriously.

I got this game yesterday from my local game store. Its my first Advance Wars game and i'm enjoying it.
My question is how did this game kill the franchise? You'd think we would've had another game in the series on the 3DS by now.

It didn't kill the franchise. In fact it sold better than the previous game, Dual Strike. The problem is that Fire Emblem grabbed the waifu crowd and ever since then Intelligent Systems had their cash cow.

So now that TFA is out, we surely will get the new trailer of the Visceral game soon. I assume it will be set during the time of the 1st Order and to prevent spoilers, they held back any information about the game.
What do you except/want in the future for Star Wars? Personally, I'd love another Star Wars Galaxies set in the era of the new movie, but that is highly unlikely.

I personally returned to Old Republic after my catastrophic experience with it when it initially launched. The XP gain now is ridiculous, I can finally just do the class storylines and not waste time with anything else.
