Can /v/ help me find the name of this game?
When I was staying at a beach house back in either 07' or 08' there was this channel on one of the tv's that played tons of Video game trailers all day.
One of these trailers has stuck with me since yet after 8 years I still don't know what it is called.
So the trailer starts off with like some family montage and then shows monsters attacking this city. The monsters are led by some possessed little girl. A military unit is sent to deal with them, one of the soldiers sent is the father of the little girl (rough description; he's wearing glasses and kind of tubby looking I think). They shoot the creatures but they just popped the bullets out of them like wolverine. They proceed to massacre the soldiers.
At the end, the father is trying to speak to his daughter but she is so far gone that she doesnt recognize him. A monster comes up right behind him and literally rips in half symmetrically (head to balls) by grabbing his shoulders and yanking. Then it showed game clips.
I don't know the name but I >THINK< it was a game that ended in "-man".
Please /v/, help me clear my conscience.

I just got it a few weeks ago. Why's it so fucking braindead easy? I have a level 42 monk and a 55 witch doctor so far and nothing has come close to killing me more than once or twice. Diablo 2 and Torchlight 2 never babied me this hard.

Why has FPS become such a hot topic just now? There were plenty of beloved older games that ran at what a modern standard would be shitty FPS. With some older games just barley being able to maintain that shitty FPS.
I'm not saying that one is better, I'm just wondering why it's become an issue now and not then.

I'm not sure if I'm in the twilight zone or what. I have been browsing here frequently every day since I got my new job and I am noticing that there are A LOT of repeat threads all of the time and they have almost the same replies every time.
Some threads seem to be marketing thinly veiled as discussions, most of them about WoW, overwatch, and FFXIV they are always along the lines of "Wow this game is great, anyone else playing it/excited for it?"
The most baffling to me are the bait threads. They are the same copy/paste shit every time and every time there are dozens of people who reply seriously and fall for it and they are similar replies every time.
It's really bizarre and I cant believe I never see any replies to these threads saying things like "Oh look its this thread again" the replies are always as if the exact same thread wasn't posted 5 times already today.
