What are the best space-faring games, /v/? Doesn't matter if it's about space combat, exploration or just adventures in space. I tried getting into Elite Dangerous but it just feels a bit empty without being able to visit planets or character interaction. Are there any good space opera-esque RPGs? I've tried KOTOR, Mass Effect, Star Ocean and a couple of others but they've not really been quite what I was looking for.

Exclusives have, and always will be, an anti-consumer practice. Holding games hostage in order to sell said platform over other platforms. All games that can be multiplatform, should be multiplatform. Anyone who argues that exclusives are good for the consumer are fooling themselves.
Surely you anon, as a gamer, agree that exclusives should never be a thing if they can be avoided (which in most cases they can)

Do you think Gackt will make an appearance in Final Fantasy VII remake? I hope they retcon him out of the lore entirely. It was way cooler when Sephiroth was the only super soldier designed that way.

Also, I love how crisis core shows that at least some of what sephiroth was reported to do was actually other people (like Zack doing the whole wutai mission but sephiroth getting all the credit) Too bad we never see genesis, angel or sephiroth actually fight anything that's not each other.
I started replaying through 7 again, and I noticed how much stuff they out into crisis core to mess with cloud:

Well, the scrolling shoulder buttons look neat. Is there a backside to this? I remember there was a patent nintendo put up a controler like this not too long ago.
So, I went out and bought a PS4 for myself because I felt like it. I got the Star Wars one, comes with Battlefront, it was on sale and came with some Star Wars games. Probably wasn't worth it, but who cares. Better than the Black Ops 3 one.
Anyway, I love playing games with people and friends, so I'm really a guy who loves multiplayer games these days. I just need to know what games are popular and pretty active multiplayer-wise on the PS4. I'm considering on getting Phantom Pain for both the single player and multiplayer aspect, but I need more ideas. Recommend a really great single player game if you want, too. I just want to enjoy this console and enjoy it with my friends at the same time.

If you're interested in multiplats as well, Batman Arkham Knight is pretty cool, although has its downsides.
Plus remasters of PS3 games if you haven't played them on that.
Otherwise, everyone's waiting for 2016 when stuff like TLG, Uncharted 4, Persona 5, FF XV, GGXrd-R- and others hit the shelves.
