I like the series, but never finished any of the games. I wanted to for the story, but it gets amazingly repetitive after a few days.

I must say, I really love Axiom Verge. Probably one of the best Metroidvania out there.
The feature I like the most is that even if you die, you dont lose the progress you made. You respawn and keep the upgrades you got.
Mediocre game at best. Shadow complex still shits on every metroidvania out there.

Shadow complex is great, but Axiom Verge is better in my opinion. A lot of new mechanics where Shadow Complex is more traditionnal.
