What are /v's thoughts on Technomancer? Felt like it flew right under the radar for me as I never heard a thing about it until I stumbled upon it on psn.
Reviews have pretty much said it's shit but has anyone here given it a go yet?
My main concern: you're a technomancer but throughout all the gameplay I've seen you do nothing 'technomancer' esque. You charge your weapons with electricity but that basically just makes you Cole from Infamous.

I've been trying to prototype an artstyle but I can't really seem to find a way to have darkness yet not have everything pitch black after a certain point. Not very familiar with Unity 5 lighting.

Here's how it could look like if the player was carrying a torch or some source of light.
Anyone got any idea how I could make it so you could see a bit into the darkness but everything would mostly blend together?

Less RNG than "Souls" games.
I have two games (coincidentally both Spike Chunsoft games) which have labels that aren't aligned properly in the case. After attempting several google searches using many different terms I couldn't come up with anyone even talking about a topic like this.
I'm assuming there are some people who hate this as much as I do and have some solution to it. I've attempted flattening the paper and creasing it where it bends but it doesn't rest where it should. I'm trying to make my collection look uniform but these games look like shit on the shelf.

Never had this issue, but I can see how it would be annoying. Maybe you can find a pdf of the label insert online and get it printed and see if yours is a one off or if they're like that?

This would have been a much better death battle then Doomguy vs Master Chief was. Whoever thought that was a good idea should have been fired.

I don't know about the best one, but I'm currently playing through Ys Origins and that shit's the bomb. Sure am getting my ass kicked, though. But the only way to play this shit properly is on nightmare difficulty, like a big boy.

Are there any SMT games like Imagine? As slow as it was- I feel like it's a major waste of assets, music and general design. It's not like it was particularly spectacular, but it was still memorable compared to the 900 Heroes/Legends/Warriors of ~ tier mmos.
Since the mmo is dead, which games are closest?
I never got the chance to play it. What did it have that most regular SMT games don't?

I've only recently gotten into SMT, but the mmo had real time combat as opposed to turn based. It was clunky but worked. There's not really any huge differences and Shoji Meguro even did the music. It had your standard mmo features namely fetch quests and whatnot, but it had a feel of its own.

I've been playing VA-11 HALL-A, watching Bubblegum Crisis and Tank Police. I need more.
The more neon cityscapes, the better.
I'm playing Shadowrun Hong Kong atm, it's very Cyberpunk, but it's also fantasy. It's a great little RPG if you don't mind a setting with Matrix Hacking Orks or Shotgun toting Elves.

Best antagonist, really upset that he can't become your companion if you decide to team up with him.
They really should've made him your companion for that one boss fight and have him die AFTER you beat the boss.
