Autolevelling sucks out all the fun out the game. Just play the OC and expansions to familiarize yourself with the game and move on to actually good modules like Blackguard or Prophet.

Very good roleplaying, I wouldeven risk saying it's the best RPG in terms of actuall roleplaying to date.
It's pretty faulty in other areas, I did enjoy the combat though, it gives you just enough options and is challenging enough to be fun.

They started with Torque engine before Unity was a thing and it was too late to switch later on.

Y'know, they probably should. Instead of displaying two screens of really shitty resolution they could just have one screen at a really nice resolution.
Seriously, DS and 3DS look fucking ugly compared to PSP and Vita.
I really like the clamshell design, and a touch screen is really useful for great controls, and I can't see both of these being possible with only one screen.
Nintendo will probably abandon the clamshell design, though. If we look at Japanese trends, we can see that clamshell phones are starting to lose popularity to the advantage of smartphones. To be trendy, Nintendo will probably look to that and make something more smartphone inspired. Probably one bigger screen with touch, like the trend is for phones.
I want them to keep the dual screen, but probably not possibl. Could the lower screen be replaced with a touch sensitive electronic paper, perhaps? That could be a good compromise, if they keep the screen, while still displaying maps and additional buttons, with lower power use.

Mount the ISOs of 2 & 3, and then run their installers like always.
The SH1 is a PS1 rip that you gotta emulate.
The "sh2proxy" fix works as a no-cd crack as well, and is included in the pack.
In case you experience issues saving the game / not being able to edit the disp.ini, make sure the files aren't set to "Read Only", and run the game as Administrator.
If SH2 gets stuck in a black screen upon launch, close it and re-start it again.

here's the recommended emulator settings for SH1. Works great on all other games too.
The plugins used are:
-Pete's OpenGL 1.78; (more options & better performance than 2.x version)
-Eternal's SPU Engine.
alternatively just use a software renderer for very 1:1 PS1-like graphics, including 240p only.
...OR just buy the game from PSN Store for few bucks.
Obviously you should play the games in the release order. Don't play under the Normal difficulties, adjust down the in-game Brightness setting, and don't rush. I'd recommend avoiding trying to kill everything that moves, especially if you have enough room to just leg it / turn off the lamp and sneak past foes.
I'd also recommend replaying each of the games. There's plenty of endings, unlockables, and just details you tend to miss on first run.
