Hey guys, got Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD version on steam the other day, and while this is my like 5th or 6th playthrough I still have this delima every time I play.
Which handgun should I go for? Red 9, Blacktail, Punisher, or the default Handgun? Which one do you like best? I was thinking of going Red 9 this run since I've used the Blacktail a lot in past runs. What do you guys think?
Also as far as the shotguns go, I'm upgraded the default shotgun and skipping the Riot Gun until I can get the Striker.
Red9 is the he's weapon in the game. Game is piss easy so just use which me looks coolest or is the most fun

I have Windows 10 on a Lenovo ThinkPad and I've been having issues with some older games, namely KOTOR II and Battlefront II. I downloaded them and installed them with Steam. I've gone through a few diagnostics and followed some pointers on Steam support and their discussions, but to no avail. I'm not exactly tech savvy (mostly talk out of my ass) so I went to my last resort. Help me 4chan, you're my only hope.

Whenever I attempt to open these games, it shuts the whole computer down. When I get to the menu for KOTOR 2, it shuts all the way off. When I get to the first loading screen on Battlefront 2, it shuts all the way off. Just tried compatability mode for Windows 7, doesn't work.
D-Walker best companion... for talking out Skulls, no doubt about it. Been enjoying playing MGSV, although I came the conclusion that I wish there were a little more little things to it. Like rain putting out fires or affecting the exposed technology. Or soldiers doing things around the base, instead of just pacing back and forth till you come up to them.I also wish Quiet had a better send-off.I will admit I did like the improvement of Miller's voice actor over the course of Peace Walker to Phantom Pain, he improved. I have the feeling that Eli and Ocelot were both kind worthless to the overall game, I mean, it was kind of cool but did we really need Eli on Motherbase? Like don't get me wrong, I like Ocelot but in this game he's just... there. Meanwhile Eli is simply angsting. I also wish bonding was more important.
Although I may just be asking a bit much.
I enjoyed Skull battles, but was very letdown by how the Man on Fire battle was handled during the Voices mission. Also the side-op with his finale wasbland.Oh and I think, I just wanted more industrial areas in game, like I enjoyed the refinery in Africa, especially when it was dark and raining, over much of afghanistan or africa. Although part of me finds a bit more enjoyment wandering through a jungle over a desert.

just use the Brennan rifle. On Archaea Extreme it literally takes out their entire shield in a single head shot and only takes about 3-4 more to take them down.

Definitely. OHKB Zero was probably the best area in the game, but even then it was too straight forward. The game really needed some bases with the size and complexity of Camp Omega. The Oil Refinery was fun, and the air port was sort of ok but empty as shit.
There also weren't nearly enough inside segments. The lack of big complexes to explore really made the game lack the Metal Gear feel, in my opinion.

Are there even any fucking jungles in the game? I've found a few tree heavy patches in Africa, and there's a lot of foliage in the valleys going up to the Man on Fire fight and the mansion where you rescue Code Talker, but most of Africa just seems like red desert. Makes me wonder why they even included forest camo for any reason other than fashion.
This is 80% off on Steam right now, /v/. What's the verdict, is it good or shit?

They need to take bigger risk. They been to obsessed with chasing the causal ans new blood market that in order to stay relevant to them they gotta keep tossing out the brand names they use to death and water it down more and more them to want to play the games and even then, those they catered to won't invest a proper interest into the series. I'm thinking about buying PS4. I have own zero current gen nor last gen consoles and am looking to get back into gaming for some fun on the side.
Should I go for xbox or PS4? The wiiu isn't really up my alley.
Which one has the most games you're interested in that are currently out or coming out? Really that should be the first and most important factor to any console purchase.

If you got some close friends/family/roommates, I would suggest the Wii U over the others for games like Smash, Mario Kart, Splatoon, etc, but of the two you're interested in, I'm more bias towards the PS4 for a few games out and a lot of upcoming titles.
Games like Horizon: Zero Dawn are looking pretty great and those types of games are up my ally.
