Why do most (read: 99%) of the online servers for multiplayer games demand that no one "insults" other players? Why is it that smack talk in a video game is now discouraged? Do people not realize that that is what men do and actually increases camaraderie?
Video games are made for children
because it's in their best interest. the more players that have a positive experience that play, the more subscribers they'll have.

They give me a dune buggy and a raider truck, but no tank.
Also no mechs to pilot. No form of aerial vehicular assault. And especially no dinosaurs with lasers and armor strapped onto them that you can ride on.

a shitton of fun. great mechanics, forumulaic but engaging story/world building (side missions with good story elements), and a shitton of love put into the game (tons of polish, tons of easter eggs, lots and lots small touches put into the world like impressive murals randomly dispersed in the city)
