No, I did not. It's even more butchered than the OoT's 3DS port:
-For some reason deku has incredibly slow acceleration which makes any movement as deku, especially across lily pads, very painful
-Ice arrows are now next to useless
-Zora Swimming is awful, why do I have to blow all my magic to move fast.
-The boss fight changes are all bad
-Odolwa and Goht just feel like slower, more scripted and more limited versions of the old fights.
-Gyorg new 2nd phase is sort of interesting, but the first phase is now nothing but "look in the water and shoot" which isn't very fun
-Twinmold is the worst offender. The only purpose of the blue mold now is just to be the easy kill for the new donkey kong mask (which btw is also dumb, sword >>>>> punching) so it feels much more like "red mold with a blue mold cameo". Then the red mold takes forever because he has some stupid amount of HP. Feels like a very tedious fight the first time.
-You get the Bomber's Notebook automatically, from the Mask Salesman, right after you become human.
-The bombers notebook coming up with a 5-10 second notification every time you complete one single task, HOLY SHIT this is annoying. If it was quicker it wouldn't be much of a problem, but the fast that it forces you to sit there for several seconds so often is just awful.
Let's just get this out of the way now. The bulk of the thread is gonna be about killing the atmosphere, difficulty scaled down boss wise and other stuff that was considered an annoyance was adjusted.
As someone that played the n64 game I was insanely happy to get to play it again on something more portable.

I'm s-sorry Sonybros. Here I was jumping on the Sony hate bandwagon here on /v/ , thinking the PS4 was absolute shit and a waste of money.
Well this Christmas my nephew ( yes my nephew) bought me a Ps4, Bloodborne and Call of Dooties. My inner mustard race was telling me that I should just ask for a receipt and return it but it was a gift on Christmas at the end of the day.
That night I had so much fun I felt like a kid again. I beat bloodborne in one sitting and then bought the dlc right after.
Now that I've actually tried the game I can safely say that the sonnygers were right. People who say bloodborne is shit haven't played it yet.
Truly a gem of this year and the best game of this year.
I'll speak for the whole PC community here on /v/. We are sorry for this year's shitposting.

Is it really worth building a gaming PC nowadays?
I was going to buy a new TV as I have a spare grand laying about (£1000/$1600) as I already have an Xbone (I've played a Ps4 and hated it)
But I might build a PC for fun instead

You can build a crazy ENTHUSIASTIC level turbo PC with that money, moron.
500$ is all you need for an acceptable entry-level gaming PC, which would kick the shit out of both Xbone and PS4 specs-wise.
Check logicalincrements.com for decent guides for different budgets. You can also search Youtube for "(your budget)$ gaming PC build", and check latest videos.
I recommend Intel CPU + Nvidia GPU set. Pirate Windows 7 Ultimate, and you save over 100 bucks instantly. Do not gimp on the PSU! It's the most important part.

you could have built a PS4-killer PC for less than 400 bucks already two years ago! Pic very related. There's no need to pay more than 1000 bucks for a PC, unless you want to get 4k capable system.

Hype is real, but it depresses the fuck out of me for something like, 4 reasons.
1, PS4 has an abysmally small quantity of good games relative to what I know I'd like.
2, they've completely assraped R&C 1 across the board.
a. Visuals, you look at Drek's eyes and tell me that's an improvement.
b. Audio, there's no contest
c. Story, besides some major changes across the board, my biggest thing is this: Grummel Net items being sold in the regular shops. Not even a black market thing like in 2 and 3. Just straight-up shit like Mr. Zurkon sold alongside Sorona Galaxy weapons. Literally why?
d. FUCKING PRE-ORDER BULLSHIT, Bouncer is Pre-Order DLC you can just buy post-launch instead of being an actual throwback to R&C2, a very bad sign of what is to come
3. It has been the slowest gaming season off-PC in a long time.
4. I am half-tempted to get an Xbone for the Rare Replay pack.
