The combat in this game is an upgrade from the previous games.
You see the enemy on the field and can right it right away no need for loading screens or that such.
But that is LITERALLY the only good thing about this game

Every rail shooter i've played.
Einhander was like this. It was a 2D shooter for the PS1. Even when there weren't enemies on the screen, there was so much atmosphere in the game so there was never really a dull moment there either.

I was grinning through pretty much every second of it. A game hadn't made me feel like that in a long time.
