As more and more gamers seek older games(HD Remakes and Speed Running) and leading developers and publishers mutilate their games with DLC the bubble is about to burst.

there are literally 3 consoles that are relevant now
So I justbeat Sakaki and they took out one of my favorite lines from his big speech at the end where he says "There is only one plank afloat in these stormy seas, and it shall be grasped by one man alone! I, Von Schicksal!" in reference to his earlier question to you regarding saying yourself or saving another if a plank were floating in a stormy sea that couldn't hold you both. They even give you the entry for the Plank of Carneades after you beat him. I feel it detracts from his character a lot at the end since he himself said he never had a place for himself on that boat, meaning he'd always planned to sacrifice himself while everyone else got on the Ark. Other than that overall I'd say the game's dialogue so far is much improvedHow goes everyone else's playthroughs?

Can a 30 year old enjoy games? Are any games actually made for intelligent grown ups?
I cant seem to enjoy any games except grand strategy once in a while(will probably try Stellaris in about two years after they actually finish it).
Most games just feel tedious as hell and always have some contrived goals and win conditions.
Or have FPS hella fuck*n epic gameplay.
This is partially why I like grand strategy games and games like civ these days.
They are long enough so I can feel as if im in a properly simulated game world that can just keep going indefinitely.
I wish Dwarf fortress was designed by a proper team and was balanced out and updated for multi core systems..
Why are there no games with PROPERLY COMPLEX simulations with no retarded end game goals and a shit ton of emergent gameplay(but not some fucking lego variant like minecraft)?

as a kid, I never had a gba. I was not into portable consoles. Yeah Iits the current year and I've never played a gba game.
I wanna fix that, Im going to download an emu (I understand that gba emulation is pretty much flawless) and play some of the best games.
So, tell me, which games should i download? Because each rom is like 2 or 3 mb in size so I guess I can download plenty of them.
They can also be game boy color games (I think the emu supports them too)
