Fucked over by being an 3ds title with 240p screens so everything looks like a pixelated mess.
This is on top of gameplay issues that are apparent in the game already. It is a beat em up side scroller, but it honestly does it worse than already existing ones like streets of rage or even the scott pilgrim game.

nothing really, you get more than you pay for IF you know what you're getting into
It's still a great game but there's perhaps a bit TOO much RNG type shit to the point of being silly
also classes are really unbalanced, they're always either unbelievably shitty or really good.

I want to suck Gabe Newell's fat narwhal cock for this, but this is by far the greatest controller ever constructed. The configuration especially with the new action sets feature more or less allows it to be used for almost any game.
If Valve ever did anything right it is most certainly this controller of the gods. I feel like I have to become a motherfucking disciple spreading the good word about this device to all of the underage kids of Microsoft land and Sonyggers.

It's got its problems, but they're really adding feature after feature.
It need some sort of API that can hook into games and detect when to switch out modes when you go into a menu. Every problem I have with it is due to games not handling thumbsticks and mouse input at the same time
But shit, I can actually play difficult Doom wads Doom with a controller.
If only they would finally fix having to restart the controller on first boot to get rid of double input and the zombie controllers problem.

I got it for $3 and beat it, turned it in for $0.25 and never looked back.
I bought an old Xbox Hueg for like $30 and recently put a 250GB hard drive in it. I'd highly recommend it to anyone else. Easy piracy, great niche exclusives, best versions of 6th gen multiplats.
But yeah, Brute Force was kinda cool. I'm surprised they didn't make a sequel when Gears completely blew the TPS market wide open.
