Why is chapter 5 and above so retarded?
Talk about bloating the game. Chapter 7 submissions are atrocious, fighting the mage and dragon and then mage again with two other fuckboys.

The redundant ending would have made the game completely unplayable if you couldn't turn off random encounters. Was still a major drawback even then.

No, CPU wise Intel i5 or higher is mandatory, especially for Dolphin. Most emulators aren't too GPU dependent, but you still need a discrete GPU of some sort, but you'll be fine with a mid-range card of any brand.

I honestly don't understand the love for JRPGs. Everyone says how great the stories are when they're literally the same anime shit over again and the gameplay is a mixture of menu simulator, elemental rock-paper-scissors, and cycling through attack, potion, and the occasional antidote.
There is no story in Souls games or any Japanese game, they just mask simplistic content with grandiose (to them) phrasings.

pretty much. Asians can't into art and stories because they don't have anything similar to western enlightenment, thanks in part judeo-christian religion and the renaissance. Their Confucius and Mao doctrines only allow for them to be good at more technical things, which is why they're so good at math.

At what point did you realize that Nintendo no longer considered you to be their target audience and they no longer had anything to offer you?
For me it was midway through the Wii lifecycle. That console may have been a financial success, but they made it clear they were no longer interested in their original audience. The motion controls made it impossible to have any gameplay deeper than cookie sheet and the amount of shovelware was mind boggling. The target audience was obviously casuals and parents. Then they followed it up with the Wii U and its disastrous marketing (most people didn't realize it wasn't just another bullshit attachment for the Wii).
The 3DS was a fucking flop with specs that can't even play SNES games and no compelling reason to buy one. The exclusives for it are a fucking joke.
I used to be upset about it but honestly I'm just glad that I have come to terms with the fact that Nintendo is content to hang themselves on the casual market and have completely forsaken the audience that made them successful. It's sad to watch them commit suicide, but what can you do?

Face it, the only reason it's financially successful is because the hardware is so outdated it costs like $60 per 3DS and they can crank out shit for it on the cheap. Anybody who's interested in deep or engaging gameplay knows there's nothing there worth the investment. Sometimes I think Nintendo is actively trying to alienate as many people as possible.
And don't even get people started on the censorship issue.

Not sure, but Windows 10 installed itself on my computer 3 days ago, and now every so often when I play Metal Gear, all the USB inputs, headphone, keyboard, and mouse, all die on me and I have reset my computer every couple of hours to fix it.

How is paper jam?
It'll figure itself back out, Paper Jam is a spin-off, not a big main-series entry, and the mechanics are as tight as ever.
If anything, Paper Jam is a sign of good things to come, since they were willing to get rid of some alternate world and just focus on a big overworld and standard battles, papercraft battles notwithstanding.
As soon as they're back on track with some new content, and maybe LESS Bowser and MORE new villains, it'll be alright.
Mario & Luigi is a series that, even at its low points, is still good, few series with five games under their belt can claim that.

I like to make believe that they ragequit from making video games because everybody hated the Castlevania reboots they did, and Kojimbo was a diva princess.
In reality, I think the CEO is just some Yakuza boss's son, and they decided that video games have a MUCH smaller profit margin than the casino shit that those gangsters really love. So they're going to do nothing but build Pachinko machines now.
