Sup /v/, got a question for you. I'm trying to find an old game, I think PS2 or Dreamcast. It's a dungeoncrawling RPG where one of the mechanics is capturing/training monsters to fight alongside you in the dungeon, and I think it takes place in a sort of Bastion-style disjointed world hub of some kind. That's all the details I can really remember unfortunately, apart from maybe the name of the game is similar to Darkstalkers or Darksiders. Any ideas what it is?

Console peasants are shaking in their boots right now, but Sony has the balls to man up and rectify their mistake of releasing a console with "just enough" graphical capabilities. I am aware that PCs capable of VR are less than 5% of the current systems, but that doesn't excuse console manufacturers on cutting corners with their console designs.

So they revealed the PC settings on the IGN gameplay video today, discuss.
Keep in mind, IGN was playing at only 1080p with an i7 4970k and a GTX 980 and the FPS was hovering around 50 the entire time, and had several dips to 30.
Options are pretty much the same as DSII's, no surprises
As for performance, there's a good chance that it's an earlier build and that the obligatory day 1 patch will improve things, as will GPU driver updates, etc.

Don't use things too much, the alien learns from it. So if you spam noise makers, it won't go for them.
Save stations take time to work, so if the alien is around, it isn't safe to save. Any kind of noise attracts it, so firing your gun or hitting a pipe with your wrench is sure way to make yourself dead.
Watch the environment at all times, it is key to progression. Remember locked doors, you will need to back track, but the game will give you lots of shortcuts to those areas when you need to go back there.

While you're being a faggot baiting cunt, no doubt, you'd also be ignoring that the New 3DS improved the 3D functionality of the system greatly, added the nub as shit as it is, added extra shoulder buttons and put in amiibo functionality natively.
If Sony released a PS4.5 and all it was is... stronger, well, they'd be faggots. And wrong.
And it's not like all these games on it already would suddenly run better.
