PC definitely has more users but its not as profitable as consoles are, even when it makes decent returns.
GTA 5 sold 56 million copies on last and current gen consoles. It only sold 4 million on PC and with a 265 million dollar budget, it never made a profit had it was released only on PC.
4 mil * 60 = 240 mil return, 25 mil loss, debt
Same thing with the Witcher 3. It sold 6 mil in the first month and so far has shipped 10 mil. On PC it sold around 2 mil (plus GoG). With an 81 mil budget this amounts to 40 mil profit had it only released on PC, which is half of what a game of this quality costed the studio. I doubt Cyberpunk is going to cost 40 mil, leaving CDP with no disposeable income.
2 mil * 60 = 120 mil return, 40 mil profit
Fallout 4 sold decently on PC but the devs would only have an 80 mil dollar budget for their next game and no disposeable income from F4. On consoles F4 sold around 8 mil while on PC it sold 3 mil out of a 100 mil budget.
3 mil * 60 = 180 mil, 80 mil profit

Does it have to be any certain genre? A lot of RTS games can have really large battles. Cossacks is one of the ones that allow the most people fighting I think.
Mount and Blade can also have lots of people.

Oh fuck, no wonder you're having a nightmare of a time with the game, the shittastic PS1 port has load times that weren't in the original game that makes it drag and take over twice as long to play compared to the original game because you are CONSTANTLY getting stopped for several seconds at a time.

I bought this version of the game because I had a PS2 to play on, but then I realized I could play on PS3 instead. I have a DS, so I could have gotten the remaster for it, but I didn't even know it had a GBA version. At the time, I didn't even know it was originally on the SNES.
I've played games with far worse load times than this one, so they don't even bother me.

Don't play the version of FFV that comes with this. The translation is absolute shit bordering on Engrish half of the time and ruins the tone of the game. Play the GBA version or the fantranslation but holy shit avoid that at all costs.

My biggest issue is a 2 system requirement for multiplayer.
No, half fps and a lower resolution is not even worth mentioning and they might as well have just not included local multiplayer at that point.
I need to know what people see in this game. I want to enjoy it, I really do, but it is just so aged I don't find it playable. Convince me this game is worth finishing, /v/.
I took the time to do the Navarro power armor run which was really a bitch wandering across that whole map.
The combat takes forever. I can do shit on my phone just for amount of time it takes for a round of combat to complete. This is with the speed slider at its fastest setting.
I don't see what "freedom" people are talking about. You can either wander around aimlessly like I can do in a shitton of games these days, do the quest, or be a pornstar which people seem to think is the crowning achievement of this game.
Convince me, /v/. I want to like this but I can't find a reason.

Not that I know of, nope. If you get Bozar weapon, it makes combat end quickly naturally. It fucking shreds all enemies and uses .223 ammo. You can get it in San Fran and guards of midget in front of NCR have it.
