I fell for it. I picked one of these up today and it's a fucking monstrosity. It's like Valve designed it to be as useless as possible for any game that already works well with a controller.
Maybe it's great for dong things like playing Civ V on the couch or something, but for anything that already works with a controller, this is the worst I have ever used in my life.

Hey guys, I just got to the Giant Smith in Dark Souls one (Playing before 3 comes out) should I continue and make a Cursed Great Sword of Artorias with my Vit/End build or something else?
Artorias' greatswords are terrible given how high the stat investment is. Just use something else.

I am also in Sen's Fortress. I made it all the way to the big black knight boss and ended up getting 2 shot. I did however find the bonfire on the roof, but I didn't rest at it so when I died I respawned in the blacksmith's tower. Anyway, This game sucks cock desu. It's nothing but trial and error. The combat isn't anythign to write home about. Witcher 3's combat easily trumps it. But, is the halberd considered a good item? I also have the Gravelord's sword. Which I use to 2 shot those snake things. I got it accidentally after mistakenly going into the catacombs and resting in a coffin trying to hide from that stone lightning shooting thing.
ps my halberd is +6, that's good, right
posted this in another topic, and to answer the reply before archive, yes, I accidentally obtained the gravelord's sword. It is my secondary weapon (Halberd +6 is my primary) It's good, right? I like how it doesn't have very high requirements compared to some of the other weapons I've found (black knights halberd) to name one...
Sen's fortress, hell, nearly every area I've been to are easy to navigate once you map the place in your mind and know how to avoid enemies to get a little further every time. Blighttown, was a bitch though.
