Nostalrius, a very popular vanilla wow server is shutting down in two days, pretty upset that this is one of the only MMORPG's I've played and enjoyed.
What are some good MMOs you recommend?
I like FFXIV because I like Final Fantasy and I hate playing with other people because I have no friends and most of the content in FFXIV before the endgame can be solo'd.
Personally, I wouldn't recommend anything. I would say quit MMOs.
Your options for enjoyable MMOs are limited. If you liked WoW, maybe play FFXIV? Otherwise, try Black Desert Online.

I really like the new wave of roguelites since tboi became popular
the most recent "genre" i can think of is the whole clicker games or idle games thing, like cookie clicker and clicker heroes.
apart from that, i cant think of any 'new' genres that havent been around for nearly two decades.
There's plenty of indie games doing innovative and interesting new things, it just takes quite a bit of effort to wade through all the shit before you find the hidden gems.
