Should I buy Project Diva f, or f 2nd? The game looks like a lot of fun, but I'm not sure which one I should buy

I think F has the superior song selection, but f 2nd is more difficult(and for rhythm games they're already on the easier side). Though I only say that because half of the playlist in f 2nd were just recycled from the psp games.
F 2nd if you're getting it on vita, as F relies on the touchscreen for star notes, while 2nd lets you use the vita sticks for star notes.
So get F 2nd now, and if you want more diva get F afterwards.
And look forward to Project Diva X on vita and ps4 in the west this fall

This game is harder than I expected.
I just arrived to the snow area. And these men in trench coats are kicking my shit in. I feel so weak. Are there any spoiler-free beginner's tips in order to get stronger?
I feel like I'm missing something, because Shanoa is so fragile, and her attacks are so weak. I've been exploring as much as i can. So I don't *think* I'm missing anything. But am I?
Just git gud, there isn't really any tricks to this game other than learn patterns and stuff, which is why I like it so much.
Once you get the ranged homing holy magic, spam that a lot. Until then, there's not really all that much to it besides swapping to weapons the enemies are weak to.
It's just a bit of a slog early on because you die really fast and enemies sponge up a lot of hits.

Swapping glyphs is a pain. I have that thing that lets me swap between sets. But there's something awkward about having to hold A, and press R/L to swap. It was so much easier with the doppleganger soul in Dawn of Sorrow. All you had to do was tap one button to swap between two sets. Instead of trying to think on the fly, while scrolling through 3 sets.

This, chameleon twist, and mystical ninja are never getting played again by me. Can't risk ruining those memories.
Never played any previous iterations of this series, but I've beaten the game on Normal and currently going through it again on Challenge Mode.
This game is really good, it feels very video gamey, in the good way. It doesn't take itself too seriously because it isn't supposed to, it feels very classic while still feeling modern at the same time, and the graphics are gorgeous, not to mention the writing is pretty good too, a lot of the characters are given, well, actual character, except for maybe one or two here and there, specifically Cora and Elaris, who aren't bad, but they're not very memorable to me, but that's just my personal opinion.
If I had to nitpick, and I suppose this isn't that much of a nitpick and actually has some importance, and say that there was an aspect of the game I didn't like, it'd probably have to be the music. Not that it's bad, but its just not very good or memorable either, I never heard a track and felt that I'd be humming it later. Again, my personal opinion.
The weapons are all pretty fun, with the exception of maybe the Combuster, which is just kinda your standard firearm, but again, if I had to say something I didn't like, it'd have to be the fact that the Bouncer was a Pre-Order bonus. I pre-ordered the game, and while I had a whole lot of fun using that weapon, I felt I was really only using it alone, just because of how overpowered it was, but also because I enjoyed using it, so I feel a bit conflicted about it in general. I think it should have been in the game to begin with, and it's a bit unfair in a way.
Now onto the gameplay. While I thought it was definitely enjoyable, there were some parts where I felt it kinda ruined the pace, specifically the parts where you control Ratchet, due to his limited movement and weaponry, and his parts are either running away from an enemy, or solving a puzzle.
Overall, I think the game is fantastic, with two or three issues here and there, that thankfully don't overstay their welcome.

Out of all enemies in the entire game, this one sticks out like a sore thumb. Every enemy is some kind of cartoony creature, but this is just a normal aquatic dinosaur. What is it doing in this game?
