In Zero Escape 3, she's a different person from each team's point of view. In team C, she's Carlos' dying sister. She's infected by a precursor of the Radical 6 virus. In team D, she's the body slipped version of her VLR self. In Team Q, she's a time slipped version of her (body) younger Path D self. She's there to ensure Left isn't killed.
Phi is Zero, the person behind the decision game. Her goal is to unite the most favorable outcome from each path into one that doesn't result into Radical 6' creation (Path C), Radical 6' release (Path D), or Left's death and the creation of Free the Soul (Path Q). Any of these outcomes result into the ruined earth future of VLR, and a body slipped version of Brother has taken measures to ensure only one team succeeds.

All this talk of Doom has reminded me that it's been quite some time since I've really got down with an FPS. My most recent attempt was with Clive Barker's Undying, which was cool and all, but I guess I just got bored of it. Ideally I might try to start again and see if it gets better past the Elizabeth chapter, but for now I'd like to try something new.

How's this game? It's 15 bucks for a physical copy on Amazon.
Best of the PSX-era and after games. I personally would say it's the best of the entire franchise, but I can see the merit in giving that title to IV or VI though.

This game is a better version of Titan Quest. Made by the same devs
It's totally different from Torchlight, Diablo or PoE in a lot of aspects.
It's worth picking up, I've had a lot of fun with it.

Im glad I decided to wait. The ps4 run was 3 years long and has nothing to show other than BB. All the big games promised for the console will release with the ps4 NEO and run at better framerates and resolutions.
PS4 ends its run with just 1 game. And I thought the wii u was a fucking scam but at least it has 4 games.
