Seeing how its also going to be on NX as well we can safely assume there isn't a control gimmick. Based on what we saw nearly 2 years ago its a more open world styled game like Zelda 1. Lets just hope they manage to make a good open world game and show everyone else what they were doing wrong, like they did with OoT and 3D cameras when fighting enemies.
So I've recently watched the anime and have been digging into the manga. Still in the midst of retreading the basic plot and picking up the excluded details, but it seems pretty good so far.
Are the games any good? Or should I give them a miss? Do they fit into any arc, or are they stand-alone?

I only know of that one Dreamcast game, it looked fairly decent as fanservice-material.
Dark Souls and Dragons Dogma are obviously inspired by Berserk to some extent, if you're also looking for stuff like that.
Dragons Dogma especially lets you go full Guts-mode with two handed swords, it feels amazing.
There's literally Guts and Griffith armor in the game toonot on PC though due to licensing issues

Don't waste money on, case, overclockable cpu/mobo, pour money into the most expensive gpu you can afford, then cpu, then psu that meets the power requirements and has dual 12v rails.

Overclocking can lead to some pretty decent performance, not sure what you're talking about. Not to mention the price difference is negligible barring the aftermarket cooler (which you should be fucking getting anyway).
As for the actual assembly, there's tons of tutorial videos on youtube, and all of your parts come with manuals. Make sure you read which DIMM slots you're using for what configuration of RAM you've bought. Aside from thermal paste application (sometimes shit comes preapplied anyway) the rest of it is pretty much easy.
