I can't believe I fell for the FFIX is the best meme. And that X was bad. Glad I actually gave X a chance with the Steam release.
IX is complete shit compared to X. X has a much better main character, way better story, better battle system, better music, better characters, and better sidequests.

Finally finished the main game and all I gotta say is GOD DAMN that was great stuff.
Also what's a good level to go into Bitterblack isle? I figured I would go in NG+ for the exp you get from the end game.

Do the whole Everfall thing and collect all the wakestones you would need to finish the post-game. But don't use them, but go to BBI. I always thought that the levels, gear and especially all the wakestones prepare you pretty well for the horrors of BBI.
