Someone gifted me a deluxe edition of Dark Souls 3. It's region locked to Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Bahamas, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname, Brazil, Mexico. This was my problem with the game. THE CITY WAS INCREDIBLY RACIST but the minorities WENT THERE. THEY COULD LEAVE ANYTIME but they just ruined everything for everybody.
I'm not white so I wouldn't be allowed but it was literally niggers walking into a white gated community and trashing the place up. THEN getting mad that people didn't like that shit even though they made the place worse.
What the fuck was I supposed to feel when I found out I'm going to help the people who practically ruined the city were the people discriminated against in the first place? If everybody hates you, why the hell are you there? Why the hell are you giving people more reasons to hate you?
Levin is a hack and "progressiveness" ruined what could have been a great game.

Asides there is another Touhou thread, starting with SA is a terrible idea, just start with EoSD.
To git gud, just choose the shottype you most like and keep trying.

I bought this recently since I wanted to get into the SMT series before SMTIV Apocalypse and Persona 5 comes out. Anything I should really know before going into it as a person that has only basic knowledge of the combat system in most SMT games, their average settings, and nothing else?

It's going to be really tough in the beginning but don't get discouraged. Once you pass a certain point it gets much easier.
If you want to make a physical build go DEX, STR is useless.
It can be frustrating early in the game, because both you and the enemy are basically glass cannons, if an enemy gets an ambush on you they have a good chance of flat-out wiping you. It evens out later.
Be sure to try and recruit as many demons as possible, both for party members and for fusion fodder.
