the 290 is such a good ass card. does pretty well for a last gen mid range
id Tech seems to use OpenGL/Vulkan and to my understanding the Vulkan version of Doom isn't available yet. AMD has always had shitty OpenGL support so that's not surprising.

It's okay. The bosses really steal the show this time around, but it doesn't help that there isn't any point in using heavy armor or heavy weaponry, when a set of light armor matched with a regular, upgraded straight sword will get the job done far more efficiently.
