Too fucking slow and enemies were too bullet spongey. It would be fine as some generic sci-horror shooter but it wasn't a Doom game

Maybe in retrospect, but the day me and my boys bought TH2 for dreamcast and played for like 5 days straight was a long term best memory for me.
Love THPS1 all the way to Proving Ground, but for nostalgia and other reasons THUG1 is my fav. THPS2 close second for similar reasons
I have but only one single complaint about the campaign. Otherwise I find it utterly flawless.

On the rare occasion some real metal does kick in it makes it all so much better but then it goes right back to this hardcore electronic stuff. It's alright but a metal masterpiece to accompany the game would have just made it that much better.

when it comes to competitive fighting games, i usually strive to be the best around me.
what i don't like about the street fighter series is that with every new iteration, no one plays the previous game anymore.

in a sense yes, you play the updated version of the game. but that means the hours of practice on the previous iteration are completely gone and you have to start over with this new street fighter game.
this is why i enjoy playing super smash brothers competitively. i can play melee, and sm4sh all i want and they will always be relevant

Most games handle 21:9 correctly. The problems crop up when you try to do 3 monitor surround.

For some games, it's way more immersive and visually impressive. FFXIV on 21:9 is a completely different looking game to traditional 16:9. The Division also is mind blowing in 21:9 and pretty alright in 16:9. WoW looks absolutely terrible at 21:9 and doesn't play so great, but I guess it's a 2004 game really.
Lots of popular games don't handle it properly though, and it's generally a pain in the ass unless the programmers bothered to support it. Anything older than the past few years is guaranteed not to support it, and many AAA games released last year and this year don't support it - COD, etc.
I recommend it, but I also bought a 16:9 2560x1440 monitor for games that don't work great with it.
