Any tips to get into it man? I have played for a week 2 times already but end up losing motivation, I resuscribed yesterday and started a marauder in Gilgamesh.
This is the best piece of hardware this generation. I'm not kidding. It's even better if you like JRPGs and comfy games. Let's take a moment to appreciate that we have something like this amongst all the disappointment .
I have thoroughly enjoyed my original 3DS. I kind of want to upgrade to the N3DS because the hardware seems so much nicer, but there aren't really a whole lot of games being released anymore so it's hard to justify the purchase.
Honestly, the library seems to be really lacking, especially when compared to the DS or GBA.

I know how you feel. I might upgrade if come across a good deal. I also hate that the New XL doesn't come in matte plastic and that you can't say for sure what kind of screen you're going to get. I'd love to have SNES games on my 3DS though.

Why can't we have more serious and adult setting and characters like it was in the persona 3? I wouldn't be surprised now even if they put rich female classmate who's family owns island and who will invite you and your friends there for vacation.

Short answer yes.
I was born in 1990 so arcades were decent when I was growing up, except I had no ability to really focus on a game til later now that I have MAME. I mostly played light gun shooters, but I would use like 4 quarters til i got a gameover.

In terms of puzzle games, you posted it. Still need to some of the few last things, I enjoyed optimizing my stuff too much.
In terms of execution, outside of fighting games, it's probably ninja gaiden II (the newer one, though I did beat all three on NES too) or something of that sort.

Dark Souls 3 is out so this game is redundant. The only reason anyone paid it any attention was because they were jonesing for some Souls and this was similar.

I got super spooked my first time through, but subsequent playthroughs I wasn't even phased.
All the spoopy bits are scripted sequences where you just walk slow and nothing hurts you, there's maybe one spoopy bit with enemies and it's right at the end.
Gunfights are awesome but the horror feels completely tacked on.

That's just it though. I'm standing around a small vent telling myself to crawl in, but it's not remembering what will happen that is keeping me from doing so. I agree that the actual scare is of little consequence, it's just every room or crawlspace that has me overthinking everything.
So putting the whole "everythung is canon now" multiverse theory into account, what if Doom 3 is chronologically the last one?
If Doomguy's jumping throughout different timelines, what if Doomguy is actually the Ancient Martian's "hero" in Doom 3's mythos? There is a Soulcube easter egg in DooM's campaign, so maybe the current iteration of the UAC found it in Hell after it closed the Hellhole in Doom 3?
Doom 3 is a completely different universe. All Doom realities are connected to the same Hell, though.

Yeah, thats what i meant. If Hell is the constant, then this Doomguy must also be a constant. He's been thrown into several different timelines, so im just making a theory about how he'd fit into Doom 3. He's not the guy we play in Doom 3, he's the mythological hero of the Ancient Martians. To support the theory more, Hell looks significantly more fucked in Doom 3 than it is DooM.
Nobody? I know Doom isnt known for story, but the new game really opened fun possibilities
