I played through it fine on windows 7. You'll have to fuck with the shortcut line to play it windowed, though and you'll probably want a utility to speed up combat.

I am primarily a retro gamer now, and up until a few years ago, the boards on older gens for GameFAQs all had active posts. Now even boards for games from last gen are virtually dead.
What happened? Is there a place where all those people interested in older gen stuff went, or did they all finally just retire from gaming?
Gamefaqs died when Cjayc removed his home address from the site so you could no longer send him FAQ's on Floppy disc. It died further when he removed his Fax Machine number.

you can get tornado really early and it's incredibly powerful. force boost is obtainable fairly early on as well
ideally you want something that either hits multiple targets, or just hits multiple times in general in order to make use of the press turn system

I'd be less concerned about status affects and more concerned about having a balanced party. You'll want to hit for as many weaknesses as possible for press turns.
