The writing in bravely second is fucking horrendous. Not that Default's writing was great or anything but at least it wasnt full of shitty food puns 90% of the time.
Characters that need nerfs:
Lucio - reduce healing, increase hitbox, increase cd on alt fire
Mcree - increase flashbang cd, roll only reload 2 bullets + number of eliminations/assists in the last five seconds
Reinhardt - increase cd before shield recharge
Widow - increase scope charge time, decrease firing rate
Tracer - increase blink recharge time
Bastion - decrease transformation speed
Characters that need buffs:
D.VA - decrease crit box (thats ALL she needs, shes fine otherwise)
Winston - increase tesla gun damage
Zenyatta - harmony orb stays on targets longer after los, increase healing
Zarya - increase hp, increase shield duration on allies, reduce alt fire damage slightly
Symmetra - just redo her completely, make her ult a normal ability

Fucking toasted OP
So, when does this game get really good? It's often praised as one of the games that gave the PS1 the title of the best JRPG console but of what I've played up until now (fight against Elly influenced by Drive) the game seens extremely exposition heavy (more so than many of its contemporaries like Chrono Cross, FF7 and Parasite Eve), has had 3 dungeons and has an "ok" fight system.
Is it going to be like this the whole time?
Is this game just not for me?

It's good from about a few hours in.
It's not the best JRPG on the PS1. That's FF7. It's just that it has become so universally acknowledged that FF7 was the best that people try to find more esoteric titles to say were the best to satisfy their weeb hipsterism.
