Costume designs are often very well done too. How can edgelord 1-handers and weebshit 2-handers ever compete?
They look cool but are almost always boring as shit or underpowered. Most games also under utilize the shield aspect like crazy or they make blocking good at the expense of making all of your other skills terrible for balancing sake.
Greatsword users, while being the biggest animu bait, have insanely high HP, DPS and self healing abilities to make up for the lack of a shield but are almost always good in any game they are in.
Sword and shield has really fallen from grace, but hey at least you can look cool right?
Sword and board has always been my favorite fantasy setting archetype. It is a shame they are usually low tier in video games.

I think it says somewhere that he was supposed to be the next unkindled one/champion of ash. Also the humanity possession hints that he's a human. Although, the drakes in the Lothric castle got humanity in them as well. I guess it's not a picky eater.

What went right?
Dragon Quarter basically had no reason to be a Breath of Fire game. Calling it one, and then building a game that more resembled Vagrant Story (not an entirely bad thing, mind you), but it wasn't the Breath of Fire game anyone asked for, and is probably a part of the reason we'll likely never see a real BoF game again.

I decided to try out divinity: ee today and it was a nice and comfy. However it was a bit easy and I was wondering how it becomes late-game. What's the general consensus on this game anyway?

writing is barely readable, art direstion is offensive, main story is harry potter tier, music is from the circus, game is full of really awful jokes and nothing is serious

As good as Bloodborne is vidya wasn't in danger, at least not in any way Bloodborne could have helped.
