How do we fix Bastion at higher skill levels while making him not too insanely OP at lower skill levels?

anyone else get physically nauseous as a result of looking at nintendo ds/3ds graphics? legitimate question, not trying to say the 3ds is bad. I'm interested in the nintendo nx and I've always liked nintendo's consoles.
no clue what causes this because I don't get motion sickness (I've played games like that and have had no ill effects) and I owned a psp/gameboy/gameboy advance when I was younger/have a smartphone so it isn't the small screen.
Even with 3d off I can't look at the 3ds's screen for too long.
I mean I can stare at my monitor for 13 hours with minimal eyestrain but need a break from my 3ds every hour or so.
Maybe I'm just getting old.Or maybe the screen door is more of a problem then I tell myself it is.
Not at all. I've played the games for several hours in one streak and got nothing.
But on the other hand, I get really bad feelings when I look at N64 or PS1 graphics for longer than five minutes. Only Mario 64, OoT, and FF7 dont do that to me.

Found this game, then two years later it still blows me away with how everything in it is no less than perfect. The gameplay, the lore, the soundtrack and the overall design. It's just an indescribable piece of interactive art. Will we have an experience as flawless and satisfying as this ever again?

Is the GTX 1080 capable of playing modern games at 1440p, 144hz at high (not necessarily max) settings?
If it is not, should you do 1440p at 60fps, or 1080p at 60fps? Or even 4k?

Is there any possibility that some games which benchmark at like ~100 fps at launch of the 1080 will benchmark at like ~110-120 in the future due to patches, driver updates, and DX12 optimization? Is that a thing?

I want to say the slightly tanned ones since that's supposed to be the normal skin color on the new island but most of the short clips I've seen show the dark haired white people. Also the kid moved to the island or whatever so I suppose the native skin color doesn't really mean anything about the main character.
