Nintendo actually delayed NX production. I don't know if this had to do with their competitors or not; meaning that they decided to change the spec of the hardware itself or are sticking with simply fewer numbers to sell on launch.

Are there any good mods to make this game longer? Once you establish a healthy trade route, there's hardly anything left to fear, playing on hard.

Hey, I may have started at Gen 4, but that doesn't mean the magic of play Pokemon for the first time was any less than it was for you. I got Pearl when I was 6 and it was the best thing in the world to me. I have now played every game in the series and participated in tournaments, obviously EV train and breed for IV and natures, and have over 2500 Wi-Fi point thingys. I could name every pokemon(with a picture) and have completed my national dex, minus some event pokemon. I love all gens, and Gen Three is actually my favorite. Sure, I came late too the party, but that doesn't mean I party any less hard.
Can we have a thread for these masterpieces? These have got to be the best Pokemon games. Gen 3 is definitely the best gen, and this is just a straight upgrade from R/S/E.
I just finished the main game, gonna do the Delta Episode and then of course catch 'em all.

The second half of this game was so fucking rushed. It's great until the marriage, which is a god-tier mission, and then suddenly you enter a Michael Bay movie with car chases resulting in dozens of explosions and dead bodies everywhere, characters introduced earlier get dropped for no reason, the villain has no reason to even exist after the shit he pulls in the nightclub, and Jackie's death is completely underplayed.
The story could've been great, and it seemed like "The Departed" in videogame form at first, but there's not even any tension over the whole "Double agent" shit. It's completely separated gameplay wise, and glossed over plotwise.
