Games shouldn't have difficulty settings at all. Devs should just make them balanced the way they intended to begin with. With some optional in-game challenges, extra bosses, etc.

It's a fact Nintendo has games 'frozen' after being developed/ halfway developed. Miyamoto gave one example with 'Pikmin 4' being near completion last year.
How many/which games could be in the freezer?
Let's take a look at EAD's output since the Wii U started...
Softwave dev groups:
Group 1: made MK8 in 3 years
Group 2: made Splatoon in one year (according to themselves in interviews), made ACHHD in max. 2 years
Group 3: made WWHD and ALBW in a maximum span of 2 years (we know for a fact the new Zelda was being worked on before WWHD)
Group 4: made Pikmin 3 and NSMBU in the span of 3 years and Mario Maker in the span of a year and half (if we judge that the E3 version 2 years ago was half a year in development.
Probably has completed Pikmin 4 in that timespan too.
Group 5: Wii Fit U was their last console game, fucking Star Fox 3D from 2011 was their last decent full game, what the fuck have these people been up to (if not helping out other groups).

Doesn't that look like a lot of time for few games? These are the people that developed almost the whole Wii library in fucking 4 years, and four years since the last big Wii release they've only made so few games.

Star Fox 2. The game was finished and then Nintendo iced it. There's a version even more finished than the one that leaked online, but we'll probably never see it.

Will Windows 10 be future of gaming? If you want to get advantage of DX 12 you need Windows 10. Alternatively you could use Vulkan, but it will be long time before Vulkan is around in more games.

No, not really. Only thing I like about vulkan api that it finally has the ability to easily incorporate overlays into the game without needing to fuck with vtables. Otherwise it's inferior performance wise.
Going back to 7. I don't like the direction they're going. Gonna stick with until it stops receiving updates and finally force myself to linux or even a mac if budget willing

Is Overwatch really that much better with a mouse?
I have it for PC and I have never used a mouse even once, and I mainly use characters like McCree and Genji, whom I hear all require a mouse for anything resembling skill.
I'm not the greatest at this game, but this game doesn't interest me enough to put more than a few hours a day into it anyway. But would I seriously improve a tremendous amount if I follow all the "PC Master Race" idiots and use a mouse? I use InputMapper and a Dual Shock 4, so if I really wanted to aim like I was using a mouse, I could just use the controller's built in touch pad(yes with input mapper the touch pad does in fact work exactly like a mouse would.) I'm more accurate using touch pads than standard computer mice anyway.
What do you say about this /v/?
