I found this jarring, at first, then I saw a meta aspect to it once I thought about it afterwards..
She spends most of the game trying to avert a disaster, as well as fixing more minor problems as she does so, albeit mostly with respect to her friends, but ultimately finds that even if she can improve things for others, she always ends up worsening them for herself, but still carries on until the final moments of the game. Hence, her attempts through her altering of time represent her acts of "every day heroism".
Was Oblivion the beginning of the end for the Elder Scrolls series? I recently finished replaying the main story and some of the DLC. The quests were as great as I remembered, but everything else starting turning me off. The overworld was boring, the generic fantasy monsters, the same generic dungeon aesthetics... And since the game sold fucking amazingly, I guess they figured that they could do it again but with more room for laziness this time

Heya. I know this is gonna seem odd, but I have some info about that Sonic 25th anniversary party they're throwing next month. Because of the live stream, they've recently began hiring people to manage some of it, IT and such, and I'm part of it.
Schedule is as follows:
6PM - Opening event, trailer for the LEGO Dimensions Sonic story pack. 2017 release. Essentially a remake of Sonic's story from SA1, though cut down a bit. Pack comes with Sonic, The Tornado, a S1 Item Box and a thing for the game's base to make it look Sonic-y.
6:30PM - Table Read of the Sonic Boom S1 finale and a scene from the first episode of Sonic Boom S2 Premiere.
7PM - Q&A with Aaron Webber, Takashi Iizuka and Kazuyuki Hoshino.
8PM - Crush 40 and Hyper Potions concert. Plans are to play SA1, 2 and Heroes material, ending with a song for the new game.
9PM - Cosplay contest.
9:30PM - Finale. Plans are to announce Sonic Boom's S2 Premiere Date, show off a new trailer for Fire and Ice and the announcement of this year's main Sonic games. Sonic 25th Anniversary Collection, a Xbox One, PS4 and Steam collection of every Sonic game up to Sonic Adventure 2 to be released in September. Some games like Sonic R and Fighters will include widescreen. Sonic 1 and 2 are Taxman versions. Physical and Digital, collector's edition includes a statue of Classic Sonic and a Artbook.
Main Sonic Game for this year announced. December 2nd release worldwide. I would say the contents, but considering what exactly it is, I want you guys to have the pleasure of finding out what it is for yourselves. It looks really good.
