Yes. I have probably close to 300 hours in medieval 2 and it's still amazing. Plus my toaster can run it on high settings.

mostly, yes. shogun 2 is the best modern entry point but other than that just choose your favorite setting
people will tell you medieval 2 is still the best but they are blinded by nostalgia. it aged like piss.
Yes, it's really good. Empire: Total War is my favorite though, many would disagree but whatever yo.

Now that Mighty No. 9 has been confirmed to be not worth the wait, what are some games that could alleviate the pain of a fellow Mighty No.9 backer like myself? I'll take anything at this point, something that could at the very least deliver a better Megaman-like experience that Mighty No. 9.

Revolutionary by Zelda standards. Also it's far from generic, given that it's Zelda's first iteration in the genre and it utilizes mechanics from a lot of different game types that haven't necessarily been seen in open world games before.

What was the last video game you liked enough to replay over multiple years?
Pic and Dwarf Fortress are the only two games I can stomach replaying year after year for longer than a week or two.
