I didn't really like how they made leatherface a bit more serious in MKX though. He was originally a fucking insane manchild, and I think they should have captured that better.

I love that all these fighters are doing this. Killer Instinct has Rash and Arbitur, Mortal Kombat X has Jason and Alien (plus others), and Smash has nearly everybody.

It generally runs at double speed on modern PCs, there are two known fixes for that, though. Otherwise it's fine but it's a low budget game and that kinda shows.

Let's talk about interface. Post your favourite interfaces from games, and why they are so good/bad/appropriate/etc.
MechWarrior Online - interface is loaded with tons of details that you need to pay attention to, but thats the nature of the game, its very complicated and requires you to know many specs of your mech and battle situation
How about we talk about how Mechwarrior Online was total fucking garbage, and how it pretty much killed any chance of getting another legitimate Mechwarrior Game.

Picked up Grimrock 2 from the GOG during the summer sale and I'm having a blast. Are firearms viable in late game? Also dungeon crawler thread.

Firearms were pretty shit during release, if you want to have some real fun make an alchemist, invest into throwing weapons and rape everything with dual bombs. Maybe it was changed with patches though.

I'll try to focus on making bombs then. Are there any penalties from doing melee attacks from the back row in grimrock? I've currently got a rogue with a dagger and throwing weapons and not sure if I should stick with that or focus on missile weapons for him. I only have one melee character which is my berserker.
In hindsight it was still a pretty fantastic game. The trailers were just misleading.

I'm going to start off telling myself that I have a huge backlog and tons of excellent games to choose from that I haven't even touched and that I've spent an obscene amount of money already and then end with buying a ton of games that I certainly won't play until at least a year or two from now while I spend endless hours on free games.
