Because climbing enemies and shooting things at range is awesome. Mages are better as pawns, either hired or rented, since they're support focused. Fighters are okay, but don't get as many useful climbing traits as striders/rangers do.

Nothing for me. If /v/ could be objective (not likely), the Vita has more going for it than any other failed console.

Pretty much my indie and weeb machine. Plays VN's just fine, some grindy games are actually better on it like tales. Has cross save with Dragon's Crown, Leifrasir, Warriors Orochi 3.
It looks better than the 3ds, less clunky, and it gets free games on PS+ and atlus releases stuff on it. The only thing missing would be if capcom finally nutted up and released monhun on it and gyakuten saiban I wouldn't have to take out that 3ds at all.
So /v/, what are you gonna do when this game has a special kind of encryption on it's files where even if you extract it, the data is scrambled and basically nullifies emulation or custom patching of any sort?

It has very unimaginative monster designs, they're basically just zombies for the most part, and the Boogeyman is just Pyramid Head with a gas mask, also, the combat kinda sucks, I like the story though and some of the areas are nice, especially the stage theater
I enjoyed this game, but the best is SH2.

Not really. Replay the game. The Silent Hill you're in isn't Murphy's.
Really the only thing wrong with it were the fucking awful monster and level designs. I like the like of an open Silent Hill with sidequests, but it was executed poorly in Downpour.
It wasn't great, but I agree with OP it definitely didn't deserve the scores it got.

With all of the opinions floating around, does anybody want to share their ideas on what changes should be made to certain characters? D.Va's upcoming change is a big topic, along with a few others. From a recent thread, these were my ideas.
