Castlevania is the typical answer to a growing porblem in the genre wherein the player is faced with numerous odds and ends with nothing to achieve. Given that the formula is tried and true with tons of content yielded to the player upon exploration, the answer is more than convenient, it's generous. Although many of the iterations in the series are less than favorable, it's regarded still, as a quality series which should not be overlooked.
What is the worst Castlevania, in your opinion ever?
If the Nintendo NX isn't at least as strong as the standard PS4 or Xbox One, then they're fucked. Not even massive Zelda BoTW sales can recover how much they'd lose after making another underpowered shit console.
Or they can rely on another gimmick and disguise it as "innovative."

That's due to all of the money they're spending on all of their new businesses, such as the theme parks and movies.
Those of you who are aware of Disney's history know that there was a period where they did not reach the same sort of critical acclaim as they did previously. Years later, they became the domineering force in entertainment due to expanding their business so well.
This is the stage that Nintendo is in right now. NX is going to be the final nail in the Playstation's coffin. I strongly doubt Sony's movie games can compete with Nintendo's games AND movies.

I don't get what the meme is around this being hated on, this is the best souls game that puts a emphasis on the RPG aspect.
Can't disagree. DS3 was made more casul with aimbot weapon tracking, low stamina costs, and an invasion system that greatly favors the host.

I'm happy to see Dark Souls II getting a lot of love on /v/ recently. Yes it has problems and yes all those critique videos are correct, but most of said problems are superficial and even Soul Memory evens out because endgame lumps together people in the ranges of millions. Dark Souls II really did get a bad rap and people are seeing it now that Dark Souls III inherited its "bad type of fanservice" instead of subtle references adding flavour to strong gameplay and variety.
