What exactly constitutes a good game to /v/?
It has to be either old and/or indie, and not have a large fanbase. /v/ are vidya hipsters.
If I don't like it, it's shit.
>>342702378
good gameplay
a story that isn't too serious
at least decent graphics
depth
fun
Who is the best Black character in video games?
CJ ; GTA SA
Lee from The Walking Dead.
and realize that MN9 will still be better than Metroit Federation Force but Nintendochildren will meme it to the point of saying it's a perfect spin-off
Nah, I'm at least sure that FF will not randomly drop seconds worth of frames, and leak data so hard the console breaks or think it's a virus
Nah,FF looks kinda fun actually
>>342702445
>looks kinda fun actually
>>342702243
>Nah, I'm at least sure that FF
Same poster, different ip, same nintendochildren tactic.
Someone talk me out of buying Orion
It's 50 cents for a reason right?
if you need someone to talk you out of spending 50 cents you have bigger problems.
Wait.
It's a terrible shooter. Sure, it's 50 cents, but you're not going to enjoy it. Why waste the money? Spend some more money on a better game.
Is it morally reprehensible to play this again after achieving True Pacifist Ending?I was going to try a Genocide run but Flowey's speech when I booted the game up after the TP ending made me feel like I would legitimately be a bad person for doing so
>>342701965
No.
It is only a video game. Despite what Chara says, you ARE above any and all consequences that the game deals you because you are a human being and it is a video game. You can do genocide and then still get the normal good endings afterwards because you can delete the files in the appdata folder that would otherwise keep you from doing so.
>>342701965
Who gives a fuck about it? It's a game.
But genocide is legitimately painful because 99% of it is boring as fuck. You oneshoot literally everyone except Undyne and Sans, and to get there you are forced to kill everyone else. And not just everyone you encounter. You have to exhaust the random monster kill counter in every area.
>>342701965
I felt that way too.
also, as a reminder
>asriel gave you exactly what he promised.
Zero Escape > Danganronpa > Ace Attorney
Prove me wrongyou LITERALLY can't
>>342701802

>>342701767
Go into a ghetto Best Buy to cop the newest Final Fantasy joint. The nigga on the cover was holding out his hand tellin me not to buy that shit.
>>342701767
Sure.
If you don't take the disastrous E3 presentations during the main press conferences, all other footage was pretty dope.
I'm buying the Deluxe ED day 1, but I'm waiting for the PC version even more, however long it takes.
What are some games that let me play as (black) magic user that can wear heavy armor?
ffxiv
Golbez isn't black, he's from the moon. He's kinda tan, but not like African or anything.

Elder Scroll games
I haven't played a fighting game since 2002 when my friends and I played capcom vs snk 2 nonstop.
I recently purchased the KOF bundle on steam and I'm wondering what the bars on the bottom do(the bars that fill up differently). I never bothered to learn about them in capcom vs snk 2 either btw.
In which game?
>>342701689
KOF 98, sorry.
>>342701971
It tells you how many power stocks you have, You can use one stock to do a DM (super), two to do an SDM (EX super) or you can press 3 buttons to activate max mode which costs one bar and increases all your damage for a limited time.
Your first character has a max of 3 stocks, 4 for your second, and 5 for your last.
Sell me this game /v/, tried the demo but it was shit, it cant be shit if everyone say is really good...is it boring? Easy? Repetitive? Thanks
>>342701114
>tried the demo but it was shit
Then imagine one huge demo.
>>342701114
>Sell me this game
Nope I'm not vanillaware.
Anyway if you didn't like the demo just move on to some other game, don't touch other vanillaware games cuz they are the same.
>is it boring? Easy? Repetitive?
All of the above unless you play on Hard, then it's boring, repetitive and tedious.
Fuck that Todd Howard guy, amirite?
>>342787958
I like his games
No, I love Todd Howard, lead designer for Fallout 4, which is in stores now. In fact, I recommend you buy a few additional physical copies just in case your hard drives fail for whatever reason. You can never be too safe!
Todd's alright, guys.
What factions would you like to see as DLC / in a sequel?
>Romans
>Trojans
>Barbarians
>Aztecs
Reminds me of playing with toy soldiers
>>342701057
SaracensSo then I can remove kebab as my Crusader
Spartans would make more sense than Memejans.
Chinese.
Any of the Middle Eastern guys; like Ayyylids.
Mayans/Aztecs
Native Americans
Indian Kingdoms
Gurkas.
Polynesia.
Not that it matters, it's UbiSoft.
>2002-1986 = 16 Years ago

good thing vice city came out in 2004 thenfuck you man, that actually made me anxious
>>342700651
what the fuck
>>342700651
2016 and 2002 don't feel all that different though...
at least not nearly as different as 1986 and 2002 feel.
weird. it's like 2016 is just a gayer, 2.0 web version of 2002.
ITT: Games you will never play

>almost two (2) years to port a mobile game to PC
what?
>the best Nippon ichi game coming for PC
>is a plain PSP port that look awful in a PSP screen, ported to 27" monitors
Why is this allowed
I mean, how fucking expensive can be to redo some 2D sprites for high resolutions, you can count the fucking pixels
i wish i could like the game, but the movement system is just so fucking retarded holy fuck
oh whoops you were moving down hill and slid further than intended, or you accidentally slipped off an object.
looks like you won't be able to hit that one guy you really need to hit now.
and lots of similar frustrations that all stem from the wonky-ass way movement works
>>342700839
But that is the same for enemies, this is a SRPG
