The visual style is cool, but ultimately the gameplay is where it counts.
Are there any games you really like, but can't stand the music? I enjoyed Persona 4, but the music made me want to fill my ears with cement so I'd never have to hear anything ever again.

I like Persona 1 though, but I hate the PSP soundtrack. That hack Meguro was allowed to direct it, and he put his generic jpop garbage all over what is meant to be a dark game

I started Final Fantasy VI last night and I'm about 2 hours in and pretty disappointed. Do you guys seriously believe that this game is not only the best FF, but the best jrpg ever made? I can respect it for it's time and all, but to say it's still better than what's come after is insane to me. Granted I'm still pretty early, but nothing has grabbed me and I don't get it. VII and X seem way better so far, and even Chrono Trigger stands out to me as a significantly better game than what I've experienced in VI at this point.
