I was ready to crack wise before watching the trailer but it looks kinda compelling.

>Eastwood
>hanks
Why the fuck would you expect anything else?
does he crash that plane with no survivors?
Do they just call up Tom Hanks immediately when they want to make a movie about a recent historically notable event?
Who is he going to play in the Boston Bombing movie?
Remember when this came out and /tv/ hated it for glorifying torture? Lol.
I loved it and watch it every time it's on tv.
>based Chest Stain
>based Jason Clarke
>that tension in the Camp Chapman scene
>Maya growing more and more ruthless
>that operator as fuck raid
My dream job is working for the CIA and catching big guys.
>>71455919
I liked it. But yeah, it's definitely funny how /tv/ lost it's shit over this because it showed waterboarding of brown people yielding valuable information
>>71455070
Remember when no government branch could get their stories about the operation and so the government got Bigelow involved to produce this piece of fiction as propaganda for them?
This is not a bad movie
>>71455046
Yes it is.
Yeah it is, but Kevin Kline is always good.
m8, you saw it when I did, when I was 8, and I agree, at the time it was not a bad movie.
I'm about to start The Wire. What am i in for?
meme or actually good?
>>71455023
You probably won't be into after watching the pilot, but just bear with it. It's gets good.
Also just so everyone knows:
4>>>2>3>1>5
arguably the best television show ever aired
>>71455130
5 was still good though, and i thought 3 was better than 2
its outdated, watch it as a period piece instead of something thats in the present day.
Just finished the first episode of this show, and while there were many things I like about I do have a question. What is with all the fucking slow-motion? The pilot couldn't go 5 seconds without using it. It's obnoxious.
Do they tone in down in later episodes? If not I might have to drop it
Yeah, it gets a lot better.
>>71454793
hang in there, op
the first episode is terrible and it takes a few episodes to get good.
i miss the fucking live threads
There's literally NO hype for this film.
>>71454611
Not even worthy of Operator Kino status. Shit editing, shaky hand held camera shots, and terrible plots.
>>71454611
is this gonna be your thing now? Fuck you.
JESUS CHRIST THAT'S JASON BOURNE
> puts two selfish "queens" behind bars, humbles them
> jails degenerate faggot
> unites the city under a noble cause
> super chill to the poor
> no vanity
You know it's true
>walks around barefeet
>shows his gross chest hair to everyone
>Peasant fucking shit thinks he can command nobles
>gets squashed
Best moment of the season desu
>>71454417
>Be a completely nameless poor faggot
>Dress like a fucking bum and probably smell like shit all the time
>Decide one day to preach some religious bullshit and gain a following of peasant fucking shits
>Think its a good idea to imprison the queen and other highborn people actually worth a shit
>Gets blown the fuck out as everyone expected

So now that finally the dust has settled, what did /tv/ think of Whiplash?
>>71454410
Not quite my tempo.
>>71454410
From the top:
Plane Crash
>>71454410
Best film of 2014.
Wish the best for Miles, especially after F4 Tranked his career slightly.
>movies where the first half is better than the second half
Interstellar is a prime example of this.
Dance off, bro
>>71454482
I like the 2nd half more. Less exposition.
The song is called 'Fortunate Son' not 'It ain't me'
The board is called reddit not /tv/
>It's a he song is called 'Fortunate Son' not 'It ain't me' thread
>It ain't me starts playing
Oh wow, never realized that LOL
Just finished season 10 of GOT
Who is the woman who gave birth to Jon Snow? Why are people saying he's a Targaryen and not a Stark? Is Ned not the father?
>>71454005
No, he's both. His sister was raped by the mad King. He's a Stark and a Targaryen.
>>71454005
>Just finished
>season 10
>Who is the woman who gave birth to Jon Snow
>Is Ned not the father
Nice bait
>>71454905
Sorry, mixed episode 10 and season 6
>>71454807
when was the last time his lineage was mentioned? I've literally forgotten any mention of Jon's lineage ever being brought up aside from being Ned's bastard.
What are some god-tier animated series? No weebshit allowed
If only they made a board to talk about animated shows that aren't weebshit. If only such a thing were real. Maybeone day
>>71454194
>You aren't allowed to post about The Simpsons, King of the Hill, or The Life and Times of Tim on /tv/
sure buddy
OOOOooooOoOoOOOOOoooOh vey!
It's me, the ghost or Ann Morgan Guilbert! I am stuck in She'ol living 10,000 shoahs because I never got a sticky. Give me a sticky or I will haunt this board forever six million yearrrrrrrs.

Miss Fine. The ghost of your grandmother is haunting the board. Please tell her to stop. This will disturb the children.
I saw a thread earlier about the new Godzilla coming out later this year and it got me wondering, what is the general consensus of Godzilla 14 here?
I thought it was worth seeing mainly for this scene alone in the cinema
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmZJiBZtahk
Also general Godzilla thread I guess
You mean The MUTO Movie?
>>71453947
It was too fucking dark to see anything
>>71453947
I think the general consensus is that the scenses where godzilla appears are pretty good, the problem is that its just like 20 minutes run time.
I think the godzilla design was pretty good, the last time 'merica tried they pulled of 'zilla, so it makes it up. But like the guy at cinemassacre said; every time usa tries to make a godzilla movie Japan answers with a greater version. With that in mind I have high hopes.
besides
>bringing back the burning godzilla

>This is Courteney Cox.
>Throughout the 90s she was a series regular on Friends, one of the highest rated most popular shows in the country.
>But then in 2004 her show ended and she disappeared and was NEVER HEARD FROM AGAIN!
I've got goosebumps, you guys.
>>71453943
I remember she had a show on FX called Dirt, about paparazzi and shit. I was flipping through the channels and there was a scene with two people fuckin in a jacuzzi.
>>71453943
wasnt she on that garbage show called cougar town or something?
>>71453943
Sometimes I hear about kiddy prostitute rings and how famous people like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton are sex workers who blackmailed big ups for record and tv show deals. I heard about an island the elite keep sex slaves on and they kill them when they turn 15.
