Now I am really enjoying season 2 of Fargo (based on the Coen Brothers film of the same name). This season is easily better than the first by a mile. However, one thing that is kind of bugging me about episode 9 is the fact thatthe alien motif that has been running throughout season 2 has become an integral part to story as when the UFO shows up it helps Lou kill Bear before being strangled and distracts Hanzee while Ed and Peggy escape. I believe it should have remained a motif and only, and yes, I know Rye got distracted by it in the first episode and that's how he dies but that that can chalked up to how he was coked out of his mind.
Thoughts and feelings on this, and the rest of season for that matter?

Now that Prometheus is explicitly set within the Alien universe through its sequel's new title will this movie attempt to explain the discrepancies Prometheus created in the Alien story?
Why was the Space Jockey/Engineer found in the first Alien way bigger than the ones found in Prometheus? Why jars of black goo instead of face hugger eggs? Why was the crashed ship found in Alien seemingly sitting around a lot longer than the ruins found in Prometheus (the Nostromo crew said the Space Jockey they found looked fossilized).
