>from my point of view, the Jedi are evil!
If you were to ask Anakin to elaborate on this opinion, what sort of evidence do you think he would bring up to support this argument?
>>63511884
>-I'm in charge here!
>>63511884
they won't let me fuck natalie portman
>>63511884
The Jedi tried to kill his bestie
Is this the greatist shot in a war film history?
nah
i was watching that today and i thought, 'wow, that's a really great shot. what must it have been like to be there and witness this?'
i never thought about asking reddit what i thought about the shot, though.
sounds like a pretty bad idea desu
>le cancer man and depression toadGo back to reddit, please
"Luminous beings are we. Not this crude matter."
What did he mean by this?
Men are created in God's image

Look upon the face of god.

we were truly made in His image ;)
While everyone's talking about Star Wars, lets talk about the better science fiction setting.
Is Dune really an unfilmable movie? What sort of alterations would they have to make, to produce a Dune movie?
I think two movies to cover the first novel would work, but no one would ever approve of that.

>Dune
sorry but the actual forefather of star operas is Fundation
>people freak out about how jodorowsky's dune would have been the best movie of all time
>like he'd ever have been able to fucking pull it off whatsoever without it just being a shitty arthouse collage of weird scenes
>"yeah if I JFK's bodyguard I would have done a fucking backflip and caught all three bull-I mean the single bullet right between my teeth" then taken my pocket knife out of my ankle sheath and fucking dead-eyed those CIA oper- I mean Lee harvey right down his fucking scope into his eye."

This trailer is so beautifully edited to hype you to the max. This + knowing it would be directed by Scorsese made me think it was going to be my alltime favorite movie. Shame it was mehtier.

Yep, agreed.

The original Man of Steel trailer with Crowe's exposition is still my favorite trailer of all time.

Why did Anakin not just walk onto the ground in front of Obi-Wan? It doesn't seem like it would be too hard.
>>63511528
Because you can't try a good trick like spinning if you simply skip towards the ground.
Besides from Anakin's point of view, he had the high ground.
>>63511585
Mule with a spinning wheel!
The ground is made of sand.
what do you think of this show

2015 was the worst year for movies to date. I can count on one hand the number of decent to good movies released this year:
>Fury Road
>Inside Out
>The Revenant
>Spotlight
Looks like 2016 is going to be even worse, too. Pic related.
>>63511284
2009 was way worse
>>63511284
13 of those look pretty good. The other 3, not so much.
2016 ftw
So do you think the Thing died after the explosion, is Childs, or is Mac? I always thought it was Mac b/c Nauls caught him early on, then he changed everyones perception by the crazy blow everybody up stunt, then went out of his way to kill every Thing creature up to the end. Then at the end he says how it wants to freeze itself again and wait for a rescue team, then it's just him and Childs waiting to freeze to death.
What does everyone else think?
>>63511184
It survived as well as Mac. There's a continuation in the PC game The Thing. You start out at the other base.
Not sure, alot of people say the Childs thing where he's drinking gasoline not alcohol or doesn't have frost breath, but I think that's bullshit opened to interpretation. So not sure.
>>63511325
Shit, are they actually using that as canon like the ghostbusters game where Ramis said "this is ghostbusters 3" or non-canon?
