Movies you watch more often than Citizen Kane or TDKR, although you know Citizen is the superior movie and you should watch it more often. There's just something about these movies.

Kurt Russel in Breakdown (personally highly recommended) kicking ass as a generic man that goes to save his woman and all of a sudden is very, very resourceful and skilled. No matter how unrealistic it is, it stands symbolic for what a man will (and possibly can) do for a woman when he loves her.
The late J.T Walsh' performance as the bad guy family man is also pretty memorable and menacing.
The action scene where Jeff climbs under the truck is one of my favorite action sequences. But apart from solid action sequences there is real suspense/tension throughout.Also, what did you think of the fact they eventually dropped the truck on Red? did he deserve it? was it the right way to go for the movie and what would you have done irl?

Nope, it's too inconsitent in it's subject matter. Alfred is cleary supposed to be the main character of the show, but most of the time it's about some generic protagonist and his stupid adventures. Albeit he's not a nice guy with modern day morals, nor an "anti-hero", he's still pretty bland.
Btw, the best series of the year is Wolf Hall.

The brilliance of TFA is that because it has a female lead feminists and white knights will defend it as the greatest thing ever just like they argue Caitlin Jenner passes for a good looking woman.
So that's the lesson for film companies. No matter how shit a movie is if you just add some "oppressed" minority it'll get a army of defenders. Its the same reason why Modern Family is considered a great sitcom even though it's unfunny because it has a gay couple in it.

And your gaze turns back on itself, on your self, and you realise you've never had that. You can never have it. You're just a stupid cunt.
