Just discovered this (it's from 2014 so you may have already talked about this).
Any other actors who you can think of that called out the Jew and got nixed for it?
Hard mode: No Mel Gibson.
Gary Oldman
and he gave a half-assed "apology" where he just shat on them even more
Not an actor but Roger Waters.
>yfw a dead black man understood this and didn't back down from saying so

It means that wb/dc still needs to release at least 5 or 6 more above average movies to fairly compare them to the MCU.
As of now IF BvS is decent then the DCU has 1 bad(MOS) movie and one good one BvS on their roster.
Makes sense 2bh
If you didn't like MOS, you won't like BvS
>>67299686
Is it that bad?
Honestly this show is fucking great. If Louie C.K played they lead people would call this show genius.
Just finished it. If you started it, make it through. It's worth it.
>>67298353
Louis C.K sucks and so does this show.
Watch some Peep Show instead.
>>67298402
This, as a matter of fact, just delete your thread and kill yourself OP.
I love it, it's a mix between Bojack and Louie pretty much.
DUDE OMNIPOTENCE LMAO
>>67298171
>tfw all of the people who started spouting the 'we only use 10% of our brains' meme and actually genuinely believed it because of this movie
>>67298171
Such a shit movie. The problem is Bresson is a whimsical man who attempted to make a serious and deep movie. He tried to grasp further than his intellect would allow.
Movie was retarded. Why doesn't she just kill the mob boss when she had a chance? Would have solved almost all the conflict...this is a no brainer.
>He is dead, kirk.
>Interesting, Commander, and reasonable too
>>67298132
I don't know why this made me laugh, but it did. I don't even watch Star Trek; I have literally no idea who this is, not a clue. But I read the text, then looked at the picture, and for some reason laughed.
I just wanted you to know that.
>>67298132
First of all, that's McCoy, not Spock. Secondly, the line is, "He's dead, Jim".
>>67300134
Actually, Spock says "fascinating".
Thoughts on this movie? Just saw it for the first time.I suppose you would consider it a romantic film yes? I love how out there it is regarding romance. Such a crazy concept for a couple but somehow it works. One major complainant was that Leon being a hit man was kind of irrelevant to the entire movie. You only seem him do one job, and then from there on its just the romance progression. Mathilda doesn't really learn how to become a hitman since he doesn't let her, she doesn't even become his partner in crime. So your like okay, how is the hit man thing relevant? She then becomes interested in killing her brother's murderer, so would think it would make the direction of the movie shift into her picking up on his skills to get the job done, or them working together to kill him. But no, she attempts to on kill him, fails miserably, and Leon has to come to the rescue. The movie ends in his death, and afterwards she talks to Tony that she was to become a cleaner, but he denies it. So again, by the end of the movie its makes it completely irrvelvant that Leon was a hit man.
He could of be ex-military and it would of worked just fine. Nothing would of changed really.
I just don't understand how the concept of the movie is relevant to the story. She never becomes a hit man, and he never willingly goes out to work with her to kill Mathilda's brother. Its like okay…
That being said, the romance was done amazingly. I loved every second of it and thats where the movie truly shines. It builds up to subtly. Its wrong, but sexy. But also understandable considering her situation. Its perfect. You can't help but feel Mathilda's pain when he was to leave her. Romance at its finest and no other movie portrays a couple I love more then this movie.
>>67297989
I dunno man. You're right on it being bullshit that we only ever see Leon do one job, but I felt like it could have been more of a "master/apprentice" relationship than a "I have a weird child crush on you" romantic relationship. If it had gone more down that road I'd have liked it more, but I enjoyed it all the same.
Gary Oldman was a based piece of shit in this.
>>67297989
If cunny posters were from reddit this would be the movie for them.
>>67298339
The fuck does that mean?
Is this the best screenplay ever?
what is so special about this film? I thought it was rather mediocre
>>67299560
It's the ultimate detective movie
>>67299607
how so? It seems like a rehash of classic film noir. Nothing new or creative
What did she mean by this?
I

1. Batman Returns
2. The Dark Knight
3. Batman
4. Batman Begins
5. Batman Forever
6. Batman & Robin
7. The Dark Knight Rises
1. The Fire Rises
2-7. Whatever
Exactly that. Get out of my head.
>>67297106
Wait no, I'd throw in Mask of the Phantasm at either 3.5 or 4.5. I can't decide which.
Some of the other animated movies were good, but I don't care as much about them.
Batman: The Movie (1966) would either be 6.5 or 8.
holy fuck don't rewatch Boyhood while high oh god
>>67297003
sounds like a good sleeping aid
>rewatch Boyhood
Good one OP
>watch Boyhood
Good one OP
What went wrong?
too much popularity not enough talent
>>67296739
You can only play the same character so many times
too many oscar bait attempts
0 success
I saw this in the cinema when it came out in 2013 and thought it was mediocre.
I rewatched it for the first time last night, and I loved it. In fact, I've never had such a total reversal in my perception of a film. I almost feel as if I saw a different cut of the film the first time.
I remember being slightly bored when I saw it in the cinema and feeling that it had serious pacing issues - specifically with the flashback scenes. I remember some flashback scenes occurring in the latter part of the film which were particularly groan-inducing in the way they disrupted the momentum of the film. Watching it the second time around however, I felt the momentum was perfect and the flashbacks were very apt and well-placed. Again, I seriously suspect that I saw a different cut in the cinema to the one I downloaded yesterday.
Everything else about it was spot-on: the score was perfect and gave the film a real sense of energy and excitement. The cinematography, particularly in the action sequences, was excellent and worked in tandem with the score to give the film a sense of movement and energy that's completely lacking in other superhero films. In basically every respect Man of Steel is the finest film in the latest wave of superhero films.
The recent offerings from Disney's MCU seem incredibly bland in comparison. Enlighten me as to why this comparative masterpiece was panned, when the tame, superficial, and artless MCU soap operas are praised to the skies.
IMMORTAL BEING, CEASE YOUR MOVEMENT

>cinematography rid
>3 shots that are basically the same
ayy
Funny how DCucks can't even talk about their own shitty movies without constantly bringing up Marvel
In b4:
>marvel shill
>disney shill
>tell me one marvel movie that's better than MoS
>marvel
>marvel
>marvel
What the fuck is her problem?
Have you finished the whole season?
It's elektra, man. She's 20 different types of fucked up.

I'm on the 6th episode and I can't fucking stand her. She is the worst.
