So why did the critics hate it?
It wasn't because of the script. The Dark Knight trilogy had one of the most horrible scripts of all times and yet it is well regarded.
It wasn't because of some poor choreographed scenes because TDK trilogy and Marvel movies (with exception of Winter Soldier) had bad choreographies.
The acting and casting was fine with exception of WW, Ben was really good.
